OFFICE MANDATE
The Office of the
Provincial Veterinarian is mandated to provide agricultural extension and
production support services for the development of livestock and poultry
industry, to perform regulatory functions to ensure good animal husbandry
practices and availability of safe meat for human consumption, and to respond
to disease occurrence and implement disease prevention and control protocols.
MISSION
To provide
technical assistance to livestock and poultry raisers and help improve their
production and the animal industry, as a whole.
VISION
The Provincial Veterinary Office as an
organization extending services to small rural-based farmer entrepreneurs and
animal raisers to improve livelihood through enhanced animal health and
production.
